Ole Scheeren will be presenting two projects, Fifteen Fifteen and The Interlace, at the CTBUH International Conference in Singapore. Both projects have already received the 2023 Award of Excellence and are in the running for the Overall Category Winners, to be announced at the event.
As urbanization is projected to reach nearly 70% by 2050, the integration of high rise-buildings, nature, and communities into the urban fabric becomes more and more important. The CTBUH International Conference, with its 2023 theme being "Humanizing High Density—People, Nature & the Urban Realm," has been commited to exploring sustainable solutions for enhancing livability in rapidly urbanizing areas.
Part of this year’s conference is the CTBUH Awards Program, celebrating projects and individuals that have significantly advanced tall buildings and the urban environment. Award of Excellence Winners will present their projects to the audience, with Overall Category Winners announced during the awards ceremony on October 18. Join us in Singapore for Ole Scheeren's presentation.
Fifteen Fifteen and The Interlace are both projects that have already garnered recognition in the CTBUH Awards Program. Fifteen Fifteen, under construction in Vancouver and Buro Ole Scheerens first high-rise project to be realized in North America, has been honored with the "Future Project Award 2023 Award of Excellence," recognizing its innovative design and architectural excellence.
