Guardian Art Center is Featured on the Cover of Blueprint

The Guardian Art Center, a new hybrid concept for a cultural institution that transcends the traditional definitions of a contemporary art space, graces the January 2018 cover of Blueprint magazine.
The multi-page article, written by Oscar Holland, discusses the just completed Guardian Art Center in Beijing, as well as the recently announced Riverpark Tower in Frankfurt, and other landmark projects Ole Scheeren's office is currently working on: Empire City, DUO, and MahaNakhon.
"‘It’s exciting to be at that point where we’re engaged in those multiple realities and locations,’ he explains. ‘I have lived and worked in three continents. There are things we’ve learned as people on the ground in all those places. It’s incredibly important to spend time in the places where you build — to understand the context, both physically and psychologically. We build for people, so we need to understand their everyday lives.’"
