Oct 20, 2011 | SINGAPORE
The 5th Condé Nast Traveler World Savers Congress invited Ole Scheeren to participate in its feature panel on China’s urbanization. Having practiced in China for over 10 years and realized one of the world’s largest architectural projects – the CCTV Headquarters in Beijing – Ole Scheeren discusses the relationship between the country’s rapid growth and its increasing focus on sustainability.
Since it first started in 2007, the Conde Nast Traveler World Savers Congress has become a major event bringing together luminaries such as former United States president Bill Clinton, the late great diplomat Richard Holbrooke, Queen Rania of Jordan, as well as socially minded celebs like Matt Damon and Ashley Judd to discuss global issues such as sustainability and the power of travel to do good.
